Highlighting duplicates based on how many times they're duplicated

    Hi All,

I want to highlight duplicates different colors based on how many times they show up. For instance, highlight all values duplicated 4 times red. Highlight all values purple that are duplicated only twice. Anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks very much in advance!

Upload a sample file with the details and we can help you out.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced

    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.

Attached is the spreadsheet with varying levels of duplicates. Some values are in there just once, others twice, others more.

Should the First name AND the last name be compared to the row below it?

Can i just choose any colors?

    Just last name is fine.

Yeah, any colors are fine, except how about white/blank if the name is on there once, red if the name shows up 3 or more times? Is that last part possible? If not, no need to focus on it.

    Thank you so much!

Do you mean that it should be colored 1 color if its 2 duplicates and another color for 3 and more duplicates? So just 2 colors overall?
