grouping in excel

I am working from a Pivot table. I have several different classes, each class has a range of scores going from 0 to 900. I am trying to establish group the ranges for each class. I have done this before but now keep getting an error message and not sure what is going on. Here is a sample of what it looks like ungrouped, and what I want it to look like grouped. I've tried to put my cursor in one of the cells, and then try to Clear Outline.

okay I figured it out, I had some errant data all *** in two different places in the data file, i changed those to zeros and now its working.

Based on your last post it seems that you have solved your issue on your own but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED.
