    Pasting Hyperlinks Into New Workbook

    Hello,
I'm trying to copy and paste hyperlinks from one workbook to another, but my file path keeps changing. Anyone know why? To elaborate a little, I'm using a macro to create the hyperlinks. The links work fine on my original workbook, but I need to copy and paste the links to a different workbook. I cannot use the HYPERLINK formula because it would be way too tedious to create links this way, which is why I create a macro. The original filepath is:

    X:\OSC DETAIL\Invoice Archive\Invoices\HCL\HCL5.pdf

but when I paste the hyperlink into another workbook, it changes to:

    X:\OSC DETAIL\Payments\Invoices\HCL\HCL5.pdf

Why would it be switching folder name "Invoice Archive" with folder name "Payments" when I paste the link to a new workbook? Do I need to have both workbooks in the same folder?

I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

There is a little star ( ADD REPUTATION ) below those person who helped you. Click it to say your "PRIVATE APPRECIATION TO THEIR EFFORT ON THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS "

Nope, none of the paste specials work, including the "ALL" option.

However, I have moved the files into the same folder and it works. I'd like to know why the file path changes if they aren't both in the same folder though. Seems kind of strange to be a default function. There should at least be an option to not allow this
