    Largest No Search in an Array

    Hi,

    i wana search the largest or greatest no in an array of numbers,

    say like, the no are 30, 12, 1, 3, 4, 55, 3, 22, 3, 4, 2, 33, 90.

    i wana equation to find the top 3 greater no in these,

    Try

    =LARGE(A1:M1,1)
    =LARGE(A1:M1,2)
    and
    =LARGE(A1:M1,3)

    Hi Philips,

    first of all, thanks for the equation, but i wounder, if it is bossible to use any equation to gread the value,

    say like, eg; if the values are 30, 20, 35, 70, 60, then the greads should be like 4, 5, 3, 1, 2.

    is there any equation for this.

    =Rank(A1,$A$1:$E$1)

    and drag across

    sorry ace, but this didnt worked,.. fr me,..

    i wana give ranking for a column full of shuffeled no's,..

    say lik 1 to 100 in a shuffeled manner,..

    What did not work?

    You would need to change the range of data ($A1:$E1) to the column where your data is.

    Can you upload a sample file with expected results?
