deducting the overall rank from two rank lists, inverse to each other

I am not quite sure if this has been dealt with before - but I am trying to create an assessment calculator based on price and quality. Basically - when ranking the price - the lowest price gets the highest rank and for quality the best overall quality gets the highest rank. I have got this far - the problem starts when I combine these two ranked lists to get a final rank as they are inverse to each other and do not represent the best outcome. And I am working with formulas - not VBA. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    VBADud

If you could attach a sample workbook for the members to look it should help them suggest a solution..
