    Calculating a week of dates/days based on the beginning date entered...

    I've attached (I think) an old timesheet my company uses for our technicians. I need to create a new one based on this but I can't figure out the formula for the dates. When you enter the date in the "time period" field it changes the upcoming week to the current dates. Timesheet.xls Also, the spreadsheet is password protected and I can't find anyone that knows where it came from to get the password to update the contact info!!!!

    Thanks!

    hi Tiffany. it's probably just a simple "Date + 1", "Date + 2" & so on. but you can use this formula for easy pasting. put this in A9 & copy down to A15:
    $B$7+ROW(A1)-1

    for B9 to B15, probably:
    =TEXT($B$7+ROW(A1)-1,"dddd")
    or;
    $B$7+ROW(A1)-1
    same formula as A7, but right-click-> Format cells -> Custom -> dddd

    The next 3 tables has to be the same as the above, and not continued to be pasted.

    The attached file shows what those date formulae are likely to be.

    Hope this helps.
