    Y values for y-axes labels

    Hi,

I understand how to change the values and ranges of the x and y axis, but I'm having trouble creating a chart.

When I enter the x values in column A and create a polynomial function in column B it provides a specific answer in column B. So after I have created a range of numbers for x and I paste the same function for all of the rows in column B I get the various answers I need.

Column A has a heading of "x" and column B has a heading of "f(x)".

When I try to graph this it shows two lines. it shows the values of x and the values of f(x). How do I make it so the range of the x axes is the values of x I have entered under the heading "x" and have the corresponding y values shown? I also would like to make it so the y axes is that of the range of y values I have created with my function.

    Does this all make sense?

    Thanks!
