My excel files are 'read only'

In setting my folder options, I have designated my excel files as 'read only'. How do I undue it so that I can add to and edit my files and still save to the original file?

Sorry, but this sounds suspiciously like you are trying to get around password protected files saved as read-only?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
