Generalizing identical multiple rows of data into one row...?

I've lost the plot. Just can't think today.

I have a series of rows like this:Capture1.JPG

and want to generalize (is that what you'd say?) to this: Capture2.JPG

Any help would be much appreciated.

It depends what it is you want to do exactly. To only show each combination once:

    - Select the total range including the header
    - Go to Data --> Advanced (belongs to Sort & Filter)
    - Choose Unique records only

This does not remove the duplicates, it juist hides them.

You could also copy the unique values to another location. If that is what you want, you can select "Copy to another location" on the same tab just mentioned.

    Does that help a bit?
