enter data in one sheet, it shows up in all of them. How do I stop this

I have copied my first sheet into multiple sheets. Now when I enter data in one it shows up in all of them. How do I stop this from happening? I have cleared out any content in them and the formula bar is blank in every line. Sorry if I am inarticulate in this.

check if "select all sheets" is used.

if all you sheets tabs are in white color then you might have selected it.
    Thanks!

You were absolutely right. When I have only some of the tabs selected (not all of them) then clicking in between them doesn't unselect them. Thank you so much -- I was going crazy!!!!!!
