Use VLOOKUP to check if a day is a Holiday

I have a calendar so if you put in the year, it changes to the correct year. I want to add Holidays to my calendar so they change to the correct day. I have the Holidays in a separate worksheet. Something like this.
    A cloumn B column
    11/22/2007 Thanksgiving
    11/27/2008 Thanksgiving

I want the Holidays to be in the right day for the year that I put in.
I have a formula like this, but don't know what goes before Holiday.

    =VLOOKUP( ,Holiday!$A2:$F9,2)

How do I use vlookup to check if a day is a holiday?
    Thanks.

did you every find out how to do this?

I want to do the same thing too. I have checked online about networkdays but cannot find any examples that achieve this. I'd be most grateful if you could share if you manage to do this.

    thanks in advance
