Re: help

I am happy to help but there are a few issues here.

A Blanket help request will annoy the Forum Moderators. I will be penalised if I help you.

Your title must be meaningful.

Second it is always useful to provide a sample spread sheet for people to work with.

How many stocks are you looking at?

Yahoo has an interface that lets excel users look up stock prices automatically and populate a spreadsheet.
Obviously once the data is in Excel, the world is your oyster. There is very little that the Forum users cannot do for you.

The following is an extract of my sample Spreadsheet:- The required input is the the character code ie mmm fr 3m.

msft Microsoft Corpora 27.93 15.08 26.26 Microsoft Corpora
att ATT 0 N/A N/A ATT
ge General Electric 22.62 17.24 18.02 General Electric
vod.l VODAFONE GRP 173.45 N/A 160 VODAFONE GRP
hp Helmerich & Payne 64.73 11.7 38.71 Helmerich & Payne
bhp BHP Billiton Limited 79.39 13.65 59.87 BHP Billiton Limited
mmm 3M Company Common 101.56 15.91 81.99 3M Company Common

Re: help

Hi and welcome to the forum

We would love to help you with your question, but 1st, in accordance with forum rules, please rename your thread to something more meaningful, that actually describes your problem.

Because thread titles are used in searching the forum it is vital they be written to accurately describe your thread content or overall objective using ONLY search friendly key words. That is, your title used as search terms would return relevant results.

Many members will look at a thread title, and if it is of interest to them, or it falls within their area of expertise, they might only open those threads.

Look at it this way...if you typed that title into google, what would you expect to get back?
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT on you're 1st post, then Go Advanced and change your title
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
