    quanity*fixed value

    I would like to multiply a fixed value in a single cell by a quantity value entered into that cell. ex: fixed value is 1.25 the quantity entered is 5. after click or enter the answer 6.25 is displayed in that cell.
    simple idea. Now each cell has a different fixed value. There are many cells

    Doing that would require VBA. Why not just use a formula in an adjacent cell?

    If you want to multiply a lot of cells by a single fixed value, you can also use "Paste Special"
    place the value in a blank cell and copy it.
    Select your range of cells you want to change (i.e. A2:A100) and right click > Paste Special
    Select "Multiply" > "OK"

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
