What's meant to be in the cell and how was it entered?
If posting code please use code tags, see here.
is there a formula behind that? If so, what is it and what is it referring to?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

i had this issue not too long ago also
its format issue between excel version 2010 and 2007
after changing cell format to general and it works fine again
as shg and humdingaling said change the cell format to something other than Text. if you have text that is between 256 and 1024 characters long in a cell formatted as Text it will display as ### in versions prior to 2010
