COUNTIF function not working

    COUNTIF function not working

    I am trying to use COUNTIF to Count all the cells above and count all the cells below the value in two another cells

    I am using the formula

    =COUNTIF(A1:A300,"<"&D4)
    and
    =COUNTIF(A1:A300,"<"&D5)

    But for some reason I cant get it to work

    Any one able to point me in the right direction

    =COUNTIF(A1:A300,"<"&D4) + COUNTIF(A1:A300,"<"&D5)

    Hmm ...

    There seems to be a fault/corruption in your workbook, I don't know why.

    I have copied Sheet A to a clean workbook and all seems fine.

    This is the correct formula for "Over Weights"

    The problem seems to be in the worksheets A-C, I copied Sheet A to a new sheet in your workbook and all seems okay.
    I have no idea why these sheets are behaving as they are ...

    Thanks that seems to be the answer, I thought I was doing it right, just couldn't figure out what the problem was.
