quick formula help - replicate alphanumeric string but increase by 1

hi there,

I need a worksheet for checks of assets in work - their codes are created by the same letters with unique number within the string - what I'm looking for is a way to get excel to copy the letter string (1 to 5000) but automatically increase the number by 1 in each row -

for example:
LHTG1HQQ
LHTG2HQQ
LHTG3HQQ
LHTG4HQQ
LHTG5HQQ

all the way to LHTG5000HQQ - nothing changes in the string except for the number, and it will correspond to the row number, it's probably so easy & obvious but I cannot figure out what formula to point to, am pulling my hair out! Can anyone give me a steer in the right direction?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Assuming the list starts in row 1 then in say A1

="LHTG"&Row()&"HQQ"

and copy this down

If the list starts on say row 12 then modify it to

="LHTG"&Row()-11&"HQQ"
