How to copy data in a cell in Sheet1 to a cell in Sheet2 using =COPY( )?

How do I use the =COPY( ) instruction to copy data in a cell in Sheet1 to a cell in Sheet2?
I have tried all sorts of variations but they are all in error. I would have thought that this
is a very simple form of operation, but the manual that I have does not explain things simply.

Any Help? By the way, this task is for a charity. Thanks Dave Relf

There are 2 ways to do this in vba (there could be more). One of them being, you can reference sheet1 in sheet2 or the other being you copy the value from sheet1 to sheet2.

1st method -

Thanks for your suggestions. I will read them carefully. I have actually solved the problem using =SUM() and this was
adequate for the situation.

Based on your last post in this thread, its apparent that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received and have solved your question, but you haven't marked your thread as "SOLVED". I will do it for you this time.

In future, to mark your thread as Solved, you can do the following -
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved.

Incase your issue is not solved, you can undo it as follows -
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.
