    csv files

    I want excel to automatically open an existing csv file on my pc. Right now I have to open excel and use the drop down menu for text files. I have Office 2007 on a new Windows7.

    You should be able to capture that with the recorder..You'll get something like the following which you can amend

    Thanks for the reply.. On the open page, I want to reset the default of "All excel files" to "All files"
