I have a log picture in the top portion of a spread sheet. I have freeze panes on show to keep that section visible. When I select a cell below the frozen row the logo constanly flickers. When I select a cell withing the frozen area the logo stops flickering. Anyone know if there is a fix for this. The workbook has no VBA.

What format is it & what method was used to apply it to the worksheet.
I've added a JPEG to a worksheet & froze the pane below but can't replicate your issue.
Can you post the file that has the problem?

Sorry, log was a miss spelled for logo. Since posting it, and playing with the file I noticed that the flicker only occurs when using Excel 2010 and not in Excel 2007. The flicking doesn't occur when you first open the same file. It starts flickering after doing a print preview or changing any of the print setting. Also noticed the flicking stops if you select a cell withing the same section that is frozen and starts up again when you select a cell below the frozen portion. I attached the file. I tried changing default printers. Same thing occurs. I attached the file stripped of most of its data since it usual size is around 18,000. Changing the amount of data also makes do difference.

I'm using 2007 also so I can't replicate the flickering.
One thing you could try is another way of attaching the JPEG & see if that helps.
If you have the Developer Tab on your Toolbar (If not go to the Windows Pearl - top left corner >> select Excel Options >> Show Developer in ribbon) select Insert & hover over the icons to find the 'Image Active X' control.
You can then draw a square or rectangle on your worksheet.
Right click on your new Image box & select Properties >> Picture & click in the same row next to it on the right.
You'll be able to browse to a Picture which will be inserted inside this active X box.
Not sure if that will work but it's worth a try.
Can't test it as I'm not able to see the issue occurring.
