    "Sort by" type of thing

    Hi,
I've been battling with something for a while now and haven't managed to figure out, how to do it. Well, I basically have a list of goods in a table that includes buying date, buying price, receiving date, selling date, selling price, how many days between receiving and selling, how many days between buying and receiving, how much was paid as taxes etc. What I need is to have a "sort by" function on top of these columns. For example if I click on A2 (there should be a button "Sort by" or something), it should sort everything by dates seen in A column. If I press it again, it should reverse it (newer to older). And I'd need such a button on top of most columns. It would also be most important that the whole table should rearrange, so that the rows will stay together. I'm also afraid that the checkboxes have a problem with that since I created them using a macro. I'm not sure if they wanna move with the rest of the row. And of course, everything must remain functional as it is at the moment.

I attached the file as it is at the moment. If anyone is willing to help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. It's just more than my brain is able to crack

All the best and a happy new year to everyone,
    Joh

In row 2, delete all the cells from column A to column O to shift them up (everything to the left of your yellow column).
Select cell A1 and from the Data Tab, apply the filter. You should now be able to select the filter from the column header and select a column to sort by. Your check boxes will move with the other cells because they are formatted to do so.
