Run-Time Error 424

Hi all I keep getting Run-time error 424: object requiered. but i cannot see what the problem is please help.

It should be Columns.Count.

thanks Norie. it sorted the run-time error 424. however it is now coming up with run-time error 1004. copy and paste error.

Where are you trying to copy to?

Are you sure it's Columns.Count you should be using?

The idea is that when I click the button it finds selected keywords (e.g cb for call back) and then puts the client in a new sheet ( Good Data)

You are trying to copy an entire column to a destination that starts in row 2 or below.

That will cause an error because you'll 'run out' of rows.

OK then so do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this problem.

What exactly do you want to copy from the sheet 'FsB'?

For example, what range would you copy when 'cb' is found in C6?

I want to copy cells A3:C6 and any other cell groups that pertain to the keyword "cb".

To copy that range, based on rcell being in the bottom left corner you could use this.

i wonder if it is possible to select the data to copy from named columns, to avoid duplicating data.
