    agregator macro

Hi guys, really liking this macro stuff it's so useful and fun too.

I'm really stuck for time on my macro, spent a whole bunch of time on a macro that didn't work, was too long, and was incomplete.

I need to open a series of .htm files (source) in excel from a directory, apply text to columns on A7:A9, delimited by ":", then copy and transpose values from ranges' (B7:B9) of source to A1:A3 of destination. Then copy and transpose values from ranges B12:B18 of source to A4:A10 of destination. Then close the .htm without saving and open the next but print the result from source2 at B1:B10 of destination and so on in this manner.

    Cheers from Canada!

    Re: agregator macro

Can you turn on the macro recorder and let it record you doing all that manually with the first two HTM files? Then post that resulting code here and we'll see about streamlining that into a reusable macro that pulls in ALL the HTM files in a specified folder.

    Re: agregator macro

thought i would test out your code with no changes...

seems to be working... but its dreadfully slow... (this is a 64 bit, 6 core computer, with 8gb of memory and excel 2013) i turned off other applications and taskman says 1,405,000KB memory usage for excel

    many thanks JBeaucaire
