Red face Is it possible to write macro to access multiple workbook in a directory

    Hi all,

    new to VBA, help needed

I need to search for text in multiple workbooks, The problem is file names of excel sheet change, is there some way to make excel to refer to workbook without using their names. Then the text I want to search is arranged as list in a column, i want excel to take up one value at a time and search it in all workbook, if a match is found i want it to copy paste the the value in the same row(next row value) to column next to text in master workbook.

I could not find out examples for my requirement, i have seen a macro in which workbook can be accessed by using file path and assigned to workbook variable, by referencing to the workbook variable a search can be performed, in my case i have search for text in multiple workbooks and workbook numbers and file name will vary.

I am not able to figure out coding for this...
