Hi All, quite new to this but have been piecing together code to create a spreadsheet which first creates a 'master list' and then exports it into different workbooks based on the data in a column.
I have got an excellent start from Ron De Bruin's site but am having trouble changing it to make it do what I need.
It might be too big an ask for a first question but..........

In column A I have a list of names which are repeated, the code groups each unique name and the associated data in the other columns and creates a new workbook from it. So 10 different names would create 10 different workbooks.

I want to be able to create 10 different workbooks but with existing sheets/macros contained in them. So I need:

1) Master.xls (populated with names in column A and data in adjacent columns)
2) Template.xls (a worksheet that I will have additional macros and pivot tables already defined in), worksheet "Summary"
3) Macro within 'Master' that filters on column A, copys the unique data and then inserts it into 'Template.xls' as new worksheet "Alldata"
4) Template.xls now contains 2 sheets "Summary and Alldata"
5) Template gets saved as the value in newly created sheet "Alldata" A2 (which will be a name)

or i suppose what would work would be to use my existing code, create the 10 sheets then import an additional sheet from the template in a separate action.......hmmmmm....see I really need some help.
