Error Message everytime, First time I open Excel doc

Hello, I have downloaded an excel filed from a web and saved it. I deleted the file and now for some reason everytime I open an excel file I always get this message

‘C:\programfiles\excel compare data in two tables software\excel compare data in two tables software.xla’ could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct.



If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the file menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved or deleted.

Please let me know how I can get rid of it. I have to press Ok everytime I get this message then use excel.

Hi there,

See if unticking the custom xla from the Add-Ins dialog box (Tools > Add-Ins) does the trick.

How do you ununticking the custom xla? I went to tool add in then?

Hi JohnSeito,

Have a look at the add-ins listed from the Add-Ins dialog, and simply click on the add-in (i.e. remove the tick) that the software company has developed.

Follow the two simple steps to remove "Excel Compare Data In Two Tables Software"

1. Install the "AddIn" once again using the following link
http://www.sobolsoft.com/excelcompare/

2. Go to Excel sheet, click menu "AddIn" and Click remove addin.
