Tiff to Excel

Hi,

Can we capture the data from the TIFF to the excel files? I've few TIFF files where in the data structure is same however everytime i receive the files i've to open the file and copy the account number from it and paste it to the excel.

I cannot show the sample of the TIFF file however the format is mentioned below:

Account No: 123456789

What i need to do is open all TIFF files and copy the account number and paste it in an excel sheet one below the other.

Can anybody help to automate this using vba?

Nope, not going to happen... a .tiff is a picture, you can't collect information from a picture.
You may be able to collect the .tiff file name, then the .tiff would have to be saved as the account number.

i agree, you may be able to convert tiff to excel with some kind of tiff library, but you are not being able to get information from a picture. but i think it is possible to open tiff files and retrieve information and then copy to the excel document.
have anyone tried that yet.
