Advanced Filter : One Criteria Cell Breaks the Filter - Returns Only Headers

I have a problem that I'm sure someone will know the answer too.
I've come pretty close but still not got what could be a simple answer.

I have an Automated Advanced filter with drop down menus for all but one of the criteria.

I have a "free" field so that someone can type in a Rep No or leave it blank if they wish.

I tried a Data Validation list with a blank and tried using ISBlank, no joy.
It just returns the headers only and breaks the filter.

The only way I can start it again is to alter the range in the code to exclude the Rep No, then it's fine again.

I'd like to be able to skip over the criteria from any one box if it has nothing inside it.

Any advice much appreciated.

I managed to fix this myself. I used an ISBLANK formula to check what's typed in.
If it's blank then return <>, the criteria is then skipped and returns all the cells.

If not it returns what is typed in, and makes up the criteria.

Now I can have a mix of data validation or "free" fields, or just one criteria and returns correct results.

Only thing you have to make sure of is that a cell is cleared using backspace to the start of the cell, if not it thinks there is something there and returns empty headers. That's it.
