Activate Worksheet Via Textbox

Hi guys and gals,

I have tried repeatedly over and over to do the following: (I eventually gave up and decided I need to start from the bottom and seek some advice)

Goal: On the first worksheet, lets call it "master", I would like to have just one data field -- a text box, that allows me to type in characters. These characters will ultimately be the name of other worksheets in the workbook (close to 250 of them). What I can't figure out is how to have the text box accept the entered "text" and switch my screen over to that worksheet to make it active.

For example: Lets say on the master worksheet I want to find out the information of client150, named John Smith. If I type "john smith" in the text box, how can I have the excel workbook automatically switch over to that worksheet.

Thanks for any advice. I have no other thoughts or choices at this point.

It is counterintuitive to use a textbox in your situation without also using a command button to trigger it. In otherwords, there isn't an easy way for the textbox to know when you are done typing something into said textbox to do the search.

Assuming the sheets name is john smith,assuming you are using an activex textbox, assuming you have an activex command button to click, this would work:
