Remove password on save file as .xlsm

    Hi

The password protected .xlsm workbook is opened, the first time the user saves it is by running a macro which creates the file name from a number of ranges in the workbook.

What code do I add and where to save it using the following code but remove the passord protection and save it as unprotected?

I'm sure it's pretty simple by changing the FileFormat line but I can't crack it.

    Thanks for all help.

    Hello BRISBANEBOB,

It was possible to save a protected workbook in the older versions of Excel and bypass the password to open the workbook. Now, you need the password to remove the password. Due to the forum rules, I am not at liberty to disclose any methods that would circumvent security of any kind nor allow other members to post information on how to do it. For that reason, this post will closed.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
