Auto populate userid

I am trying to find a way to auto generate the userid of the person entering data on a single line ie:

User1 entered the data on line 1
User1 entered the date on line 1

User2 entered the date on line 3
User2 entered the date on line 3

And then save this information, not allowing anyone to change

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
see attached workbook.

When You made changes on sheet "Data", it will be recorder to protected sheet "Log".

Password is "password".

Do not forget to protect also VBA code (go to VBA enviroment ALT+F11, select Tools -> VBA Project Properties - > tab Protection)
