can you have SEPERATE form control option buttons on one sheet??

I have a spread sheet and I want to have multiple option buttons on it. but for separate things

    e.g.

I need roughly 50 option buttons. however. I want about 25 groups of them.

so I want 2 buttons next to a cell where user can select one. then I want 2 more on cells below where user selects one for a different question

but at the moment, every single option box copies every other box when I changed the format control cell reference. even though I haven't copied and pasted them!

    did that make any sense!

If you put the optionbuttons in a group box you can, well, group them.

    its still not working!

if I create a option button from form control.. group it with another then assign to a cell.... then create another one and try to assign diferent cell without changing the other one. I cant!

Then you didn't put the option buttons inside a Group Box control, I suspect.

I thought I did but I might be misunderstanding what you mean.. I simply created 4 option buttons then selected 2 and "grouped" them then did the same to the other two.??

I figured. You need to add a Group Box control from the same place you add the Option Buttons, then put the option buttons inside the group box.

its so weird. still doesn't work.

I created a group box from form control.... then created a option button and moved it inside it.. did that again with another group box and button and it still does the same thing. it doesn't seem to have had an effect at all
