need partial data from cell pulled from our work db where data was merged ino one cell

Looking for VBA to run through a column of numbers where most cells are already correct but some have 2 sets of data in the same cell separated by several spaces

ex

1 101.50
1
3
4 100.00
10
3 152.50
4

All I need is the first value but since the list can be thousands of records long, I would rather have some code to sift through this for me. The second value is not needed for this report.
