    How to make a range colour equal a cell colour

    A column of cells can be 1o different shades of green according to their value (achieved by using conditional formatting.) I want to arrange that at a certain time all the cells of a part of the row of a formatted cell are the same colour. I have been looking at the following code

    The color property of a range doesn't return the color of a cell if the color is applied using conditional formatting. Sorry.

    That's a blow. I would never have found that without your help though, so thanks! I guess if I code my own "formatting" I could apply it to the range I want and work round that way.
