option button to disable textbox

Hi
can someone please help with this one. I have two option buttons "satisfactory" and "unsatisfactory" and one text box "txttext" I need the "txttext" to be disabled as default as the option button "satisfactory" will be set to default and then active when "unsatisfactory" option button is chosen.

Thanks that excellent, is there a way of having the texbox looking like its disabled with a greyish colour and then white when active.

if u click satisfactory than textbox's value will fade automatically, but about textbox color don't know

Thanks i got the colour to work

txttext.BackColor = RGB(192, 192, 192)

but i am stuck trying to get the satisfactory button to show checked when form is initialized. the textbox is disabled but i would like the button to show its checked.

by default u want to satisfactory button to show checked
