Sometimes its best to start at the beginning and learn VBA & Excel.
Please dont ask me to do your work for you, I learnt from Reading books, Recording, F1 and Google and like having all of this knowledge in my head for the next time i wish to do it, or wish to tweak it.

It looked right to me, but it has been a long time since I've worked with complex numbers.
Does it have to be done in VBA? You could use the IMxx() functions in the spreadsheet to perform these calculations (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...474.aspx?CTT=1). =IMSQRT(b^2-4ac), for example, would give you the square root of the discriminant. These functions might be available to VBA (through the Worksheetfunction object), if you are allowed to use Excel functions in VBA.
