Highlighting data in table and chart

    Hi,

Would anyone know if there is a way to write a program in excel that would do the follwoing:

    1. Using the mouse pointer, hover over or select a data point in a chart, and and have the cell where the the data came from change color. the color change would then dissapear if the data point is unselected, or if the mouse no longer hovers over it.

    2. Using the mouse pointer, hover over or select a cell with a data point , and have the relevant point in a chart change color. the color would change back to default, if the cell is unselected, or another cell is selected.

it would be really cool to have this feature in excel to make charts interactive. would anyone know if it is possible to do it?

    Thanks.
