Copy from excel to other application

I want to copy some data from excel to a java application to fill a form. How can i achieve this ?

We use to do manual testing by filling the forms of a java application manually which takes around 3- 4 hours using some sample test data.. I want to automate this.

Can this be achieved using VBA / or VBA send keys or any other methods ?

Any ways / method to solve this will be appreciated.
