    Macros to send email

I once had a spreadsheet that had a macros built in so that when anyone opened it up the first thing was they had to enable to macros and that action triggered and an email to be sent to me. The spreadhseet opened with an intructions page which told the user to enable the macros and that allowed them to view that data on another tab. Once the macros were enabled I would get an email letting me know they had gotten in.. Please help...

    Re: Macros to send email

This code works for sending mail via Microsoft Outlook. If you place this macro within an Open Workbook event, you can have it fire when the workbook is opened. You can customize the .To field in the quotation marks to designate where the email gets sent. Likewise, you can customize the .Body field to include a message.
