Any help on a formula to match the invoice number from column A, Sheet1 to column B, Sheet2 and give the sum of payments for that invoice from the other worksheet. Is this possible? Thank you

Hard to give exact suggestions without seeing what you are working with, but try the SUMIF() function

Thank you the sum if worked great but I am also trying to get it to look up the invoice on one sheet on the other sheet and give me the total payments from that sheet as well and only the first instance. I have attached an example which I'm sure will make much more sense than my ramblings.
