prompt save as then send in email

I need to create a one click button to do the following.

Two sheets (worksheet 1 and worksheet 2) deleted from the workbook "file A"
Prompt a save as for "file A mm-dd-yy" for todays date. (needs to have no password and file A has one, no read only prompt, and no backup needed)
Attach the new file (file A mm-dd-yy) into an email.

I have listed the code I have at this point, although, I am having trouble with the save as portion.

I have used application.getsaveasfilename before I used the below, and though it allowed me to input the file name I needed, it didn't save permanently.

Also is there a way to do this without having to type in the file name at each save, just save as the file name with today's date in mm-dd-yy format?

I just can't get it. Can you please help?

It does exactly what I need, only thing I need to change is the file format.
    It saves as
    file a.xlsm-mm-dd-yyyy.xls

    I need it to be
    file a mm-dd-yy.xls

Not really sure how I would specify to drop old file path before the date. thanks!!!

I know I marked this as solved, but I am having trouble figuring out how to close the file before it prompts the email, as it will be a different file name each time. To say close file a .... (using the new date each time or just to say close any open workbook that contains the words "file a") Sorry to keep bothering you, but you seem to know quite a bit more than I and I love to learn as I go.

    That's it!

I don't foresee any additional needs from this. but will keep unsolved until I am sure I am done this time.
