My spreadsheet reads the filenames, timestamps, and tags of all the files in the selected folder. The tags are usually applied to the files in Windows Explorer.
I'd also like to add or tags to the files from within Excel. Is there a way to do that?

Yes! The file properties are stored in the ThisWorkbook.ContentTypeProperties class.
Those are the same properties that you'd find if you use the Windows button > Prepare > Properties menu.

Doesn't that show the tags of the current workbook? I'm looking for the tags of the files (jpegs, in this case) that are in a Windows folder.

Yes, like that. In fact I'm using code like that to extract the tags and filenames now. What I want to do is be able to MODIFY the tags in the file.
