Business Objects for Excel Add-In

Hi guys/gals:

I use the following code below to activate Business Objects for Excel when opening any Excel file. I recently discovered that this does not play nice with embedded Excel tables in Powerpoint (will not allow ppt files to be saved).

Let's say I'm in powerpoint, I click embedded excel table to edit. Can vba code check application being used before activating add-in?
