Question How to protect form control button with password?

    Hello All,

I have made an excel sheet for multiple choice questions, in which person

needs to click on submit button after completing with the test & pop up will

    say "Your score is__".

Now, I want to want to add one more button named "Reset". I want below

    results:

    1. Person should not be able to make any changes after clicking on "Submit"

    button.

    2. If one tries to click on "Reset" button, it should ask for password.

    3. After keying password for "Reset" button, all questions should be reset

so that next person can give test.

I have attached an example excel sheet for your reference. Please check it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Vipati

If you're talking about the file that I upload then there's no problem with it but if you added something else in that file then you have to upload it otherwise I can't help you.

Question Re: How to protect form control button with password?

    Hello Blokeman,

Thank you for your replies. Can you help me little more?

I have attached one more excel sheet named "MCMC Domain Test". I want below results:

    ***After pressing Submit button:

    1. Pou up should come saying, "Your score is______(Whichever value available in cell "U1".

    2. All the option buttons should be disabled so that user can not change his answers.

    3. All the wrong answers should be highlighted in yellow or red. (I tried to do this with conditional formatting but the problem is it's highlighting wrong answers immediatly but I want them to be highlighted after clicking on "Submit" button

    ***After pressing Reset button:

1.Pop up should ask for password, after keying correct password all the options should be deselected so that next person can give test.

Sorry I am wasting your some more time.

    Thanks again,
    Vipati

Thumbs up Re: How to protect form control button with password?

    Hello Blokeman,

Thank you very much for your precious & continuous help. This is exactly what I wanted to do. As per your advice I will start a new thread for my third question. Being new to macro & VBA I am unable to understand how you did it but now, I will start to learn VBA & I will be able to do this kind of little tasks on my own soon.

I am very thankful to you & this forum also.

Wish you great, healthy & successful life.

    Thanks again,

    Vipati
