Trying to Match values and then print a value if there is a match.

    Hi,

I am fairly new to vba. I was hoping someone could help me. I am trying to match two values from different columns and if they match then check to see if two other values match and if they do then paste the value of one of the cells on another sheet.

    For example.

on Sheet 1 i want to look for matches from Column A, row 1-9000 with sheet 2 column A row 1 -4500. then once there is a match, take the corresponding value in column b from sheet 1 and see if the corresponding value on sheet 2 column b Matches. If their is a match then paste the value from column A sheet 1.

    THanks for any help.

Not everything is equal. So for example in Row A for Sheet 1 and 2 the Names are in different order and sometimes repeated. In Row B for sheet 1 is how much that person paid. Sometimes it is the same and sometimes it is different. I am looking to take the name from sheet 1 Row A and search Row A in Sheet 2 and then check everytime that same name is listed. Everytime it finds a match with the names, I then want it to look at how much they paid and see if there are any matches with the amount paid also. If there is then paste the amount from sheet 2 in sheet 3.

Would there be a way to also check if the amount paid in sheet 1 is equal to the amount paid in sheet 2 +/- $5000? Thanks so much for your help!!
