Copy pivot table column based on column name

    Hi all,

What I would like to do is in a macro copy a column of data from a pivot table in one worksheet to a column in another worksheet. I would like to use the pivot table column name because the actual column ("C", "D" etc) the data is in may change upon refresh of the pivot table. In addition the number of rows in the column variable. Both the column and rows will change based on what is in the data worksheet

I've attached a sample spreadsheet. In this case I want to copy worksheet "app graph". column "AAWS Succ" and paste it in worksheet "AAWS" column B. Problem is "AAWS Succ" is in column"C" this time, but next time could be in column "D" or column "B".

    Thanks for any help

Re: Copy pivot table column based on column name

thanks berlan. It's getting late tonight, so I'll try it tomorrow and see if it works. Does the "datarange" only include rows with data?

Oeldere - I olny included one pivot table sample. There are actually ten different pivot tables, one for each application. Each application has different transaction types and some have mulitple transactions type. Typically I'm pasting one days worth of data and all transactions may not occur every day.
