    Automate task of copying file path to a new workbook.

    Hi all,
    I create hundreds of excel file each week with unique name (in .xlsb extension) ....
    Now what I do is I copy the file path (address/ directory) and paste it in an Index.xlsb file with which enables me to to open that newly created file from Index.xlsb using Hyperlink.
    I wonder is there any way which would automate this task.

    CREATE HYPERLINKED DIRECTORY LISTING
    Here's a macro for creating a hyperlinked listing of files in a chosen directory that match a certain file type (or all). Macro will list the last modified time stamp as well. A sample file is include on the page:

    Thanks for ur kind reply
    But what I want is As soon I create the excel file and press the save button its directory shpuld be copied to Index.xlsb
    I think What u hav suggested me is something like a userform in which i have to manually feed the data to get its address
