Sequential number plus save and clear macro

Hi everyone

Please can anybody help me with a macro that I can use in a purchase order template.

I don't have a clue how to write one and its driving me crazy trying to find a way to do this.

I have a template downloaded in excel with the search from Microsoft I think its Garamund Grey?

I have edited the template to suit what I need but I need a way of making the numbers move on each time I make a new order plus clear the cells for the next order.

I found a video on youtube but this doesn't work either, I copied the codes given exactly and changed the cell numbers but I just get error messages all the time.

The cell I need the number in is "E5" and the cells I need to clear are "A20 to G30"

Can you post a sample workbook - desensitized, of course Go to "Go Advanced" and click on the paper clip.

I have tried everything that I have been able to find online including youtube videos, various macros and still I am not able to get an order to work.

Surely it cant be so difficult, what am I doing wrong.

I downloaded a microsoft template from the search bar in excel, "Garamond Grey" I have changed it to suit my needs and the relevant cell that I need the number in is E3.

I also want to be able to save the order when done using the same number eg: 000001 then 000002 etc.

Please can anyone help me out with this its driving me crazy and taking up far too much time.
