Multi checkboxes

If I have several checkboxes within a userform and each one does the same upon clicking, I can use the following code:

My question is: how can I adapt this code if the checkboxes were NOT in a userform but simply on a worksheet?

The same i would have thought, but the controls are shapes, and not MSForms.Checkboxes, they dont have any events for you to sink though.

But changing from:

does not even compile.

Thats what i said, they dont have events.
