Splitting address in one column in to multiple

    Hi,

I have over 170k records with the address all in one column, with the postcode and an ID number in other columns. The ID is the indicator for each record.

I need to split these addresses into different columns, to show Address 1, Address 2, Town, County etc.

The majority of the addresses are in a similar format, is there a way to do it for all these with the same layout and any not in the same format I could pick up manually I am sure?

The most common layout currently is:

    Address

    11 Test AddressTest TownSample County

It would need to be: (in seperate columns)

    Address 1

    11 Test Address

    Address 2

    Test Town

    Address 3

    Sample County

    Thanks
    Andy

Re: Splitting address in one column in to multiple

Most of the addresses are not split at the same width and I can't get it to pick up on an indicator that would split them in the right place, anyone have a link to some information on how to use text to column?
