Bloated workbook file + Embedded images?

I have a workbook that has recently started to bloat in file size. And for once CodeCleaner (really useful add-in btw. google it if you don't already have it installed!) has failed to have a noticeable impact on the size of the file.

What I am wondering is whether this bloat could be because someone may have embedded images into the file somewhere?

    Unfortunately I have two problems
    1. The file contains too much private information to be uploaded
    2. I know nothing about embedding or extracting images

What I have tried so far:
    • Checked the worksheet pages for any visible image objects
    • Opened the XLSM as an archive and browsed for any image files
    • Checked the XML (It has a custom ribbon however the images it uses are not meant to be embedded - they are links to images outside of the workbook)

I'm looking for forum users to please provide me with one (or more!) of the following:
    1. A link to a free (or trial) add-in that will extract all embedded images from an Excel file
    2. Code to extract all embedded images from an Excel file
    3. Other possible causes of file bloat (in case it has nothing to do with embedded images)

Not sure what else you have in your sheet that you might not want to delete (careful before you save! it gets rid of things like charts too) but try this.

Actually considering who you are - I imagine that you need a more sophisticated solution. you'd have tried this one already.

for file bloat I'd remove extra rows and simplify the conditional formatting and cell formatting.
Maybe create formula dynamically using a macro and some code to find the range required.

And maybe just copy the essential data to a new sheet and re-save and see what that does.

Thank you for the suggestions made.

The WB is an XLSM which is almost entirely ribbon & userform driven. There are no charts in the workbook. The worksheets have no images, no conditional formatting and next to no cell formatting set.
